Capitalism has never, ever, in the history of the world, existed without slavery. So long as free competition dictates that the person/group/corporation that can reduce costs the most will receive the greater profit, people/groups/corporations will find a way to use slave labor. They might call it outsourcing, they might call it cheap labor, they might call it "better jobs than most in this area of the world", but it's always slave labor. Until we, as a species, stop dancing around the word and using legalese to justify it, it is the same thing. Embrace it, rebel against it, or just stop buying things. You pick.
