He's still building crazy machines in his shop,

I get that he's not a big fan of fame and TV and all of that, and I respect that, but... Man, I'd totally watch a show of this.

It'd be fun to watch a talented person just making stuff, and he wouldn't even have to interact with the camera/crew. Part of it would be watching the process, part would be "I wonder what he's making."

Ah, The Reassembler. I enjoyed that one. It's sad that, aside from no more Top Gear, there won't be any more of May and Hammond's BBC side project shows. There were some real gems there.

It is reasonable for folks living in the midwest to own a house with a yard. That is not something which is viable for most people in SF.

Don't be so dramatic. It's perfectly viable to have a square foot or two of sod planted in a rolling cart under the bed in the closet you're subletting for $2300/month.
