Originally I wanted to make a simple missile defense clone to teach myself how to make games and animate in html 5. I wanted a bit of a twist in it and to draw things I like, and I love animals. I decided on a frog eating bugs, but in a tropical setting. I know Mr. Hop's species (Dying Dart Frog) doesn't eat insects in that manner, but I was going for more aesthetics than accuracy. I got stuck fairly early on and enlisted Jim's (Mogwai Poet) help, since he's a friend of mine. We finished it in our spare time in about a week, and it was very dull. Worth about 30 seconds of gameplay. We decided to keep adding to it, powerups and such, then it got weird.

I'm more of a beer person to be honest. Big fan of Sierra Nevada and Firestone DBA.

The original Frog Fractions was made in our spare time over a year - Jim was working full time and I was a student and working part time. A nights and weekends sort of deal. I'd say Jim's 'made it' more than I have!
