React doesn't mix backend and frontend code? React is just a frontend framework. If you're hooking it to a backend, then that code should be completely separate.

It seems like quadcopters with cameras could be very useful to you guys -- have you thought about investing in them? They're not terribly expensive.

Laying out the elements and length of your story is important when writing for pay of any kind. It keeps the writer from being inefficient.

That makes sense. If you think about it, all you're doing is offloading the template render to the client computer so you can send less data over the wire and preload a few things. This saves you some compute $$ and improves load times at 0 cost to your user.
