I miss the sound of the water. It was always therapeutic for me. :)

I remember any sounds I can think of. Eventually, I may forget though.

Yes.

At first I was devastated. Who would want to be with a deaf girl for life? Will I have to go to Gallaudet? Can I have kids?

It wasn't until I became educated in ASL an deaf culture before I finally became ok with it, an now I have never been happier. :)

My speech has been affected. I trip over my tongue a lot more than I used to. I apparently sound the same as I used to, but slightly more deliberate. I'm not sure, because of the whole deaf thing.
