She won't put this on Facebook adhd likely she'll delete this post because she's violating the agreement set up by the donor agency. They explicitly tell the donor family not to seek out the recipient or their family. She explicitly told not to do what she is currently doing. She certainly can't do it with her real name on Facebook.

Is very tragic but honestly she needs to be content with the letters. I'd be so uncomfortable with the contact she's trying to insist upon. A donor is a donor. There is not obligation attached. She should delete this post and cease trying to force it

I hope you reported her. Calling someone's child (children in your case) "medical waste" is offensive, unprofessional and straight up uncalled for. I am furious for you.

Deaf mom here!

Currently this is only true with iPhones and very specific (read: high end) hearing aid models. Insurance is a bitch about hearing aids, they consider them non essential devices in a lot of cases. Additionally they will only provide new ones every ten years. You can imagine how long term years goes when technology advances as rapidly as it currently does. So I finally hit my ten year mark over the summer, got new hearing aids. Got to hear from my audiologist all the Bluetooth stuff capable.... With the ones my insurance obviously doesn't cover, obviously.

I once had my hearing aids stolen from a car break in.I had taken them out because I was going to watch a parade and the noise can be overwhelming. The thieves just took everything, probably didn't know the hearing aids were valuable and threw them in the trash. Even with a police report in hand, they would not give me new ones. But luckily, we found a loop hole in that the manufacturer actually had a warranty period which included theft!!! My point is fuck you insurance companies, and fuck hearing aids for being so terrible and no great advancement in medical science for deafness for the common person.

Hi Corina... Curious, how long do they expect you can live on dialysis for? Sorry if that's a morbid question. Do they tell you where you are on the transplant list? How long is the list currently?

As an aside, situations like this is why I'm listed as an organ donor, both on my license and my family knows my wishes. I wish you the best!
