That kind of question applies to everything. Why donate to help the asylum, when you could donate to help starving African children?

Why buy any sort of luxury, when that same money can be used to help Haitians not die?

I have an uncle who is gay (making him ineligible to adopt in Utah) but wants to adopt a foster care kid.

Do you have any suggestions? Do you think he should wait until if/when its illegal or just lie and adopt someone?

He'd make a great foster dad IMHO, he is not involved in the whole stereotypical gay scene.

Did you ever experience overmedication/overmedication in people around you? If so, how did you avoid it?

Do you think there is any danger of paying families too much, making foster kids into cash giving commodities?

What do you think of just granting them rights, ie allowing them to work, or just paying them directly and allowing them to live off of the money, with social worker supervision.

What disability does she have?
