My friends and I still quote the "Bear is driving line" quite a bit and get the weirdest looks from people because they don't know the reference. That was the most random-but-true-to-anime, funniest fucking thing I had ever seen.

Ian,
My wife is a devout 90210 fan (even to this day, she has all the DVDs and still recorded every episode on DVR when it was on the soap network). I know she would love to tell you that Steve was her Dad's favorite character, and although she was a Dylan girl, she was always rooting for Steve right up until the end of the show.
My question for you is: What do you think Steve Sanders would be doing in 2014 Beverly Hills? I always envisioned him being an agent to the stars.
Congrats on the new Sharknado movie, and good luck in the future!

Hey there, Ho there, Mr. Azaria!
You've been a household name to me since I was kid, being that I grew up on The Simpsons and loved Godzilla. Recently however, my wife and I have binged on reruns of Mad About You and she absolutely fell in love with your portrayal of the character Nat. She thinks he's possibly the most adorable character in television history.
My questions, sir:
1) Where did your inspiration for Nat come from? Was it something you picked up on from the writing of the character or was he based on a real person?
2) Being the person I am, I like to imagine the most wholesome of characters having an equally dark side to balance them out. What would Nat's dark side look like?
Thanks for doing this AMA, and thanks for coming back to Reddit! Keep up the good work, Mr. Azaria!
