Hello Prof. Dawkins. It is an honour to speak with you. I have two questions. First: For natural selection to get going, there have to be an entity that can be either more or less numerous. That can only be the gene. So the gene's eye view can only be the right point of view. Is that right?
Second: You often say that natural selection is a cruel process. But you also say that nature is neither kind nor unkind. Yould cou explain that? Thank you very much indeed.
