Pro for 40 yrs here. . Bottom line is every room/job is different, pros hardly ever use tape to do trim or high-cuts. Cutting a straight line is all dependent on the pressure you put on the brush, that's how you control the line. And you cut a good line just as well with a $10.00 brush as you can with a $25.00 brush. Pressure is the key to control the line.
