How do you react nowadays when people say things like, "I'm against the war, but I support the troops", after seeing so many horrific things carried out by soldiers 'just following orders'?

I'm curious what your thoughts are on people comparing Donald Trump to Hitler. Is it all just meaningless digs, or do you see any truth in that?
