Mr. Knopp,

I have a 92 year old grandfather who was with Signals in PNG during the war. The one thing I do not know how to approach is asking him about his experiences. If I do ask him questions he gives minimalist responses about what he did/was a part of while there. I do have his records from the archives but they don't give the details I'd like to hear directly from him. Basically, what is the best way I should encourage my grandfather to give deeper responses about his experiences from the war.

A couple months ago Robert King said that with every passing day the regime is another step closer to falling; do you subscribe to this belief as well? If so (or if not) why do you believe this?
