Were there any cool/big scientific surprises or answer you got during Artemis 1?

Flight of the Navigator was one of my all time favorite movies as a kid. Whenever I was sick I would plead my mom to rent the vhs for me. Even today, it still has some really cool and mysterious scifi moments that have definitely molded me as a writer today. Your performance as a boy who is stuck out of time and only wants to get back home, struck me as a kid on a profound level. I could only imagine how sad and scary it would be if I would go back to family that is not exactly the same. That scared me as a kid, and got me into sci fi. How did you go about thinking what it would be like for your character?

Loved your book, really engaging. Has there been any event as of late connected to the Coronavirus that you find eerily familiar to events that you may have written in your book but considered too outlandish to be taken seriously, thus left out?
