I have two advanced degrees in ethics. Diversity is ABSOLUTELY an ethical consideration and they are far from separate. I have no idea how you can make such a claim and be serious. Diversity, inclusion, and fairness are all strong ethical values and issues.

You are being pedantic perhaps? Discussing diversity in film IS discussing inclusion. They are interrelated and both ethical considerations. I’d actually argue that diversity is a moral good.

Explain, please, why it isn’t. You just keep denying and offering no basis. So support your argument. Thousands of organizations and a dozen ethical philosophers disagree. Put up or shut up.

I did a 2 year stint as an ALT for JET in the 90s. I know right where you are 6 months in. Keep up the good work for the students and enjoy these halcyon days while you have them.
