Mate stop fetishing poverty and working class culture. It’s disrespectful for those of us who grew up in it and it shows that you have no understanding of what it’s like to actually have no money. You are making these choices, which is your right, but don’t act as if it’s not a choice for you

I think you’ve just proved my point. People who have experienced poverty don’t chose to put themselves into those situations or come on Reddit to brag about it. I’ve worked low paying jobs I hate to be able to afford food. My friend works three jobs so she doesn’t have to ask her girlfriend to help her pay rent. We don’t have other options. I would never chose a job that left me in a financially unstable position because I don’t have that safety net. From what I can see on this thread and your instagram, all you’re doing is painting people who actually have to beg for money into a bad light by trying to force people to give you money for a life that you chose. Get some perspective and grow up
