How big of a role did the doctor and nurse play in the sessions? Compared to let's say two intelligent young men having a dose and and then just talk about life and problems. I am not asking you to recommend taking illegal drugs, but do you think that it could be beneficial compared to just tripping?

How big of a dose did they give you?

I have experimented with MDMA one time during a LSD trip, the socalled candyflip. We took a hit of LSD and 4 hours in we took 125mg of MDMA too(eyeballed 1/8th of a gram). For me this was the sweet spot, I couldn't imagine that it could be any better, it was an absolutely beautiful experience. When the effects wore off we redosed with half of the original dose, ~62mg, but it was probably too late and didn't prolong the effects, just got us up a little again. Then we got optimistic and redosed again with half a hit of acid and a full 125mg dose of MDMA again, this was 7 hours after dropping the first hit of acid and was a bad idea. No euphoria or bliss, just restlessness and a complete mindfuck and we ended up sitting in my kitchen at 5am talking and forgetting every sentence half way through it. With the help of weed we fell asleep at 8am, 13 hours after dropping the fist hit of LSD. The day after was horrible, jaw muscles more sore than anything on my body has ever been and I felt no joy in anything, couldn't taste anything. Short term memory was fucked too, probably due to the LSD. We should never have done more than the first 125mg, that was perfect, more and it turns into a mess.

If I would like to educate myself into the field of psychedelic/marijuana research, which fields goes into it and which professions gets to do what?

I changed my education so that I can go to the University in 1,5 years and do this stuff instead of business school, but I am still undecided whether I should go with the chemistry/science or the psychology side of things.
