After seeing both Blade Runner and 2049, does it make more sense for Deckard to be human or a replicant? Either way, it's a 'miracle' that Rachel got pregnant, but I'm curious as to where you fall on that debate.

I agree and much prefer the mystery and open-ended nature of it. Something I found peculiar in 2049, though, was how similar of a reaction both K and Deckard had when presented with situations that conflicted with their worldview or perception of reality.

K, when told that his memories had been lived by some individual, just before his outburst, says, "I know what's real" or something to that effect.

Deckard has the same word for word reaction (or at least incredibly close) when Jared Leto's Wallace confronts him with the possible notion that he was designed to fall for Rachel.

I'd love to know what Villeneuve and the writers are trying to convey with that.
