Ah. Keep your hopes up. Mostly what governs melting points are the size of the molecules. One carbon like methane are gas at room temp and pressure. Longer molecules can be volatile liquids and even longer ones can be solid at room temp and pressure.

Even so. There are processes to split the long chains into smaller ones. So if it solidifies too easily, they can probably find a way to break them smaller so the stuff prefers to be liquid
