Ships on the high seas aren't an escape from the law, the ship has to have a flag of a nation where it is registered, when in the high seas you are supposed to follow the laws of the country where the ship was registered (as if it was a floating island that pertains to that nation)
If you have no flag military vessels might board you and request papers

I think having uploaded content should add to the value a person has to that link, and by a lot. Or needing the original owner's authorization if you want to buy their domain if XYZ conditions are met, some ideas would be:
Uploaded content (recently)
Traffic numbers
Linked to unique e-mail / telephone number
Linked to unique physical address
There really need to be safeguards against people taking over addresses of small content creators which will not have the means to defend themselves.

The world needs more people like you, keep being awesome. What is your stance / opinion on the current copyright system and piracy laws? Fair/unfair, can it / should it be changed?

False. Instead of pumping the waste into the atmosphere we hide it and there is a lot less of it by multiple orders of magnitude
False. Nuclear produces the least deaths per MW produced out of all the sources of energy, even when taking into account disasters such as Fukushima and Chernobyl. Even with Solar, the amount of technicians that die while installing solar plates is greater than the combined mortality of nuclear per MW produced (and lumping together modern reactors in developed countries on safe grounds with old, obsolete reactors in communist countries and reactors that took quakes/tsunamis much larger than what they were designed for is unfair)
Obsolete is a non argument (this is about costs/benefits of new plants), I believe it is still less expensive than solar / wind once you factor in we would need to store energy and government subsidies
