It seems to me that Push Girls has fallen into the "reality" trap where the directors turn the "cast" into characters and manufacture situations that they think would make "interesting TV." Somebody has to be the nice one, somebody has to be the beyotch, etc. - regardless of whether they're that way as people or not. Chelsie Hill seems to have been getting flack from people after this week's ep, even though publicity pix from this week show her and Auti arm-in-arm.

My wife has has wheels for most of her life; after our daughter was born, she started and ran a website to connect other parents on wheels with each other. She doesn't get the whole con/cosplay thing, but she humors our son and I! (One of the moms we met thru her website used to deck out her chair with EL wire for local Trek cons!)

Dieselpunk, anyone? (Just recently discovered this, and must admit to being intrigued...)

I'm a bit saddened that even today, newly-injured people are still left in a place where they feel alone and have no idea what life ahead may hold. It does take a lot of effort to find people to look up to. We don't even really cover the Paralympic Games in the US...

LOL Wait until you decide to have kids! Society at large still has no idea what to make of obviously pregnant moms-to-be-on-wheels! My wife went into a maternity shop while hugely pregnant with kid #2, and the sales person actually asked her, "who are we shopping for today?"!!
