How does Canonical feel knowing that Ubuntu TV was beaten to market by FireFox OS even though they had a two year head start?

Good points. I see what you mean by hardware companies not really knowing what they are doing when it comes to software. It's a very risky evolution for a company, that is probably why they went with already made platforms.

I do agree that the game is far from one, however I just feel as if Canonical are cutting their chances by not being the first out the door. Indeed, it is great to know that these companies now know where to innovate and it is great in general that they are using platforms such as FireFox and Web OS. Hopefully they wont have any problem with Ubuntu too.

Are there any ETA's for Ubuntu TV as of now?
