I accidently ended up seeing him live shortly after starting Silicon Valley in Portland, ME. It certainly wasn't pre-planned (me and my s/o just happened to be in town that weekend and saw a retweet about how he was doing a show).

Had a few drinks to pass the time and ended up missing what would've normally been the show, except he ended up putting on a second show for the local comedians. The guys at the door just let us in for $5/piece and it ended up being a pretty surprisingly good show.

With only 20-25 people, there was plenty of opportunity for it to get awkward, but he (his wife) and the other guy he was touring with all performed well, pretty funny material without the over-the-top douche act that I expected.

By the end of the night, Miller bought the whole theatre some shots and fries and walked drunk me and my girlfriend out of the theatre. Not too say I don't think differently than you do, but meeting him at the urinal next to me in person certainly changed my perspective on him. Seems like a cool guy

We know there's a tremendous amount of sexytime going on in nursing homes

Not exactly, nursing homes (Skilled Nursing Facilities) are a lot more akin to hospital care (the good ones have a 'homey' setting). It's extremely rare that any 'sexytime' acts take place in these environments, they're too heavily monitored (it's extremely rare). Touching, verbal harassment, etc. is more common- but nurses and staff have to ensure the safety of their residents, part of that is keeping them from sexually assaulting each other lol

Assisted living communities are more of what you're referring too; where there is significantly more independence. These are the type of places you read about in Florida where 2/3's of the population have to be treated for STD's.

So I take it you've been in charge of Fargo Season 3's music (or has it been all seasons?)

It's certainly one of the best composed shows on television- so kudos for that

However- my question:

It seems like for certain characters- you've stuck to the same assigned instruments that came from the 'Peter and the Wolf' parable- namely Nikki's 'themes' (for lack of a better term). Was this intentional/by Hawley's design or were you allowed to make the decisions in that regard? From the way she sways her figure when she walks- it seems like it's an intended effect (it also pays to have a good looking woman to actually do it lol).
