I noticed that some people have their own shelters/homes, how does that work? If someone came and wanted to join the community and build their own shelter, within the community, is that permissible?

Test engineer here. How do you determine the exact metrics you’ll use for evaluating a certain product?

I know from my time in the consumer appliance industry that testing for performance “claims” like “whitest whites” or what have you requires a lot of testing to very specific criteria and that a lot of procedures were defined/agreed to under the AHAM organization.

A former employer used Excel to create a UI for a custom Finite Element Analysis/ Computational Fluid Dynamics software package that we used all the time.

It was pretty kludgy, but it was a huge improvement over the software's actual interface.
