I'm not an expert, I'm actually a high school student, but in my limited botanics knowledge, I know there are different types of plant growth. Sometimes plants grow towards the light source (positive phototropism) sometimes they grow towards the gravity source (positive geotropism), sometimes towards water or a chemical substance (positive hydrotropism and chemotropism), and sometimes they grow away from all these things i mentioned (which would be the negative phototropism, negative geotropism, and so on).

Now since these phenomenon occur depending on the production of certain substances like auxin, my guess is that it would only interfere with geotropism, since there is no gravity, and carry on with the other types of movement as usual.

Botanics experts, if I commited any mistakes please point it out, I don't want to spread misinformation :)

I love the idea of nasa being a motherly figure to the astronauts. Kinda like MOM in World Of Goo :)

Haha thanks man! I'm brazilian and here we all study the same subjects, we don't choose which ones we want to see like you guys do. So this is just one piece of the botany we all see during the biology class that I ended up taking last year :)
