I just got goosebumps reading this. It brings back that day and just seeing that second plane hit the building, and thinking about all those planes still up there. It was amazing how quiet the skies were over the next week. Not to mention what seemed like a month of sonic booms from fighter jets scrambling to escort planes with out of hand drunks on them.
