I am more technically minded and not really a 'sales' kind of guy. I have a lot of knowledge and can communicate that well, but schmoozing is not my thing.

I always see the term 'Designer' and think it is somewhat similar to a Project Manager. How accurate is this? Do you have to be familiar with many different aspect of the game creation in your position?
