Hi, I also have faceblindness. I don’t think so. In Cartoons every character has a different hair colour, body shape & clothes than everyone else and that’s even better to distinguish. Same with 3D animations mostly. The stylisation helps a lot.

I have it too: I develop a recognition for them if I see them daily. I lose it when I don’t see them for a bit or if they wear a different style of clothing/ hairstyle, then it takes a minute to save this new appearance to my brain.

I first found out that I am faceblind when I only recognised a friend by their voice 2 minutes after seeing them.

I can see faces and attractiveness, I just can’t remember them. I think it has no impact on who I find attractive.

Hi, I have faceblindness too.

Don’t all dogs of one breed look exactly the same? If not, you just blew my mind. I can tell if a cat is male or female from their face.

Hi, I have faceblindness too. I recognise small details and features I actively try to remember ( a curve in the lips, etc.), but mostly voice, posture, clothes.

It’s not really not seeing faces but there is a delay between seeing the person and being sure it really is them. In dreams I don’t have this. Interesting 🤔

Oh wow. That’s awesome.

I think it’s the shape of the face. Just the general roundness or sharpness. I like cats but never had them myself. I had rabbits and can’t tell them apart either.
