Is it pronounced Mek-ner, or Me-TCH-ner?

Also, did you write bonjour cause you are currently stationed at Ubisoft Montreal, or another reason? Cause if its cause you're in Mtl, nous vous apprécions vraiment!

My brothers and I were all introduced to PC gaming on floopy disks where we had Prince of Persia and Doom. You have no idea how happy we were taking turns and playing for hours. You gave the world a great gift; sincerely, thank you.

Former anxious person here.

No matter who you go see to treat and manage your anxiety and depression pushing your limits is the treatment... You don't get stronger muscles by not pushing your limits, your don't run further by not pushing your limits, you don't learn more at school by not pushing your limits... Pushing your limits is how to recover... but it is important to have a support system in place to recover from pushing your limits.

That being said, that may not be for everyone. Many people yes but not all. My mother for example was clinically depressed due to a hormonal imbalance which couldn't be treated by such measures.

Do your homework, find out what you need to find out from a mental health specialist (i.e. a psychologist) but then you gotta take it into your own hands... You can't expect others to do the work for your (i.e. pills and doctors) you gotta push yourself to recover.

Until you realize that you need to push your limits, desensitize, and take control nothing is going to work... you may keep your anxiety from flaring but I'd rather push and try and get my anxiety to disappear :).

Honestly though comparing the standard treatment for anxiety with an appendectomy is absurd. That's like saying a stranger can't help me with directions as they aren't a cartographer...

Think of AA, or any other support group... are they all run by medically trained professionals with PhDs in recovery? No... they are following standard treatment for a variety of ailments with a proven track record of success... are all perfect? No... but many are good enough to help people... and they are approved BY experts.. so you may not be getting face-time with a medically trained expert but it is sanctioned and you are getting face-time with an expert regardless... just not medically trainer per se,... much like the yoga may be.

Cheers and good luck.

"So not to worry - you will be able to take your midterms."

True professor right there, works hard and expects nothing less from students :).

Not to mention in Canada anyway all our paper is made from renewable tree farms, so... its not like we're clear cutting forests... but adding more plastified chemicals... i prefer paper. Considering you'd have to transcribe your notes from their notebook to something more permanent later anyway...

Maybe for Doodling.
