I think that's a fantastic approach, and I have to say "The Devil's Hands" was one of my favorite episodes (the episode "The Late Philip J. Fry" being my #1, by far).

The way you guys brought emotion and humor together in those episodes was just unprecedented for a cartoon, and imo, in a tv show itself.

When Fry / Bender / Farnsworth have that almost indifferent resignation about the end of the world in "Late", it just gets me every time. I have a very unique emotion (that I'd never felt anywhere else, and still haven't) linked to that episode that will stay with me forever; it truly was an amazing story.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was the reason Murdoch invested, to be honest.

This is "best one shot of all time" material right here.

This AMA got me reading your comic, and almost an hour suddenly disappeared into nothingness. I'm going to chalk that up to "maybe" on the list of anomalies.

With all seriousness though, I think your style and content do so well at kindling the quiet thinker in all people, so you probably had many more fans than you ever thought you did - it's just that they all took it inward!

I'm really kind of excited I have your works to shuffle through now that I know about them. And, you probably have many other people that do this exact same thing, but they never tell you.. incidentally why I had to write this :)

Laura Intravia is freaking amazing, just saying.
