Really important question that seems to be hand-waved away in the current pendelum swing. I’ve had friends end up intensely manic/psychotic because of psychedelics.

I personally haven’t used them in 15 years because of the after effects they had on my psyche.

The best way I could describe certain peak experiences on psilocybin was - eternal nostalgia, felt like being a child, everything imbued with “god everywhere type nostalgia”.

Ineffable to say the least, but good to see common threads in experiences.

In Fall of 2017 at 32 years old, after a checkup for a severe hemorrhoid and a doctor giving me a flex-sig to ensure everything’s clear, they found a few polyps. One colonoscopy later and they removed something like 12 polyps, all non-cancerous.

My questions are:

Is there anything I can do now (being at risk with these polyps) to further reduce my risk?

How often should I get a colonoscopy considering the above?

I had five polyps removed from my colon last year at 32 years young.

What is the probability of me developing Colon cancer over my life time; and is there anything I can do to decrease my risk?
