Sous chef here. I've only been in the industry for about 3 years, but in that time I've seen coked up line boys, functioning alcoholics, a dude that smokes more weed than he breaths air, heroin, Adderall, and one methed up dish guy who I'm not convinced wasn't part of the mob in his younger years.

This industry is very hard and taxing mentally and physically. Hell. Just last week i worked 90 hours in 6 days because we launched a new menu and we dont have the help we need. It's unfortunate, but sadly the stereotype is true. That's not to say every kitchen is like that, but a fair amount of then are.

Hello. I may be late here, but my question is this. I have about 5k in credit card debt along with 5k in car debt that I CANNOT pay off. I have been considering bankruptcy, but am afraid that the amount is to little and in general just don't understand it very much. Is it advisable to declare bankruptcy in this situation?

This is strange to me, as a SoCal native for almost my entire life, I never see any specials about the "best of" on Food Network or Travel Channel for anywhere in CA other than Pinks or that one split pea soup restaurant in central CA. What is your favorite place to eat in CA?

I love LC. That being said, there are certainly times when the pizza is better than others. I've had a LC pizza hit me right in the hungry box and be the best tasting thing ever, then also had it taste like wet cardboard topped with tomatoe juicem
