That’s a great point and I forget it often; be mindful of what you can control and what you cannot control and try to reconcile your emotions accordingly.

When I’m not having a good period of time (minute, hour, day) in my anxious mind it’s always because I’m thinking bad things. Always. Once I catch myself I immediately squash it by turning my attention to the present and it’s like a bad storm is passing and the sun comes out. Its not easy but one can do it. Break the doom cycle.
