Good to know you have looked into it and have a profile already. I suggest you see which countries you wish to visit and put a general request out with yoru back story. That way people who are avaialble to host will see that you are looking for a couch. You will reach more people this way. If you have time then sending personalised couch requests is always best though. I know there are people out there. Hopefully you'll find someone who's avaialble this tim eof year. All of the best.
