He is cast for a lot of a very grounded, rational, scientific, maybe even genius kinds of roles, yet off screen he seems so warm, ungrounded and artistic. Is there any reason for this disconnect? Or have I just missed a lot of the roles where he plays those other kinds of parts?

Our capacity for national dialog is already so damaged. Emotionally charged communications only undermine it further by alienating anybody who didn't already agree with you in the first place. This alienation is why the war on the press is happening and is why there is such polarization in our country where it's hard for people of different viewpoints to intellectually engage. Rather than talk, people you disagree with are immediately talked to like they are wrong and sick and, of course, that just undermines any ability to engage with each other, make any progress on either side or come together. For the sake of making any progress as a nation we need to communicate humbly and respectfully and that has to mean that we don't confront those we disagree with with emotionally charged loaded terms. So, while yes, it's hard to avoid feeling emotion, I think it's more important than ever for a good journalist to try to remove that emotion from the language they use and the facts they present.

The press has a unique and important opportunity to strip away the emotional walls that prevent us from engaging with those we disagree with by presenting the facts without those emotional and partisan slants that push us into our information bubbles and safe zones.

Just don't fall into the the prejudiced "us vs them" trap where you write off all of your critics by pretending they are all the same stereotype you don't have time for. I'm sure many of the people who are put off by you here are not PUAs and I'm sure some are. Whether you have the time to engage with everybody to find out is up to you, but just stereotyping all people who disagree with you into the same bucket is wrong and unhelpful.

Given how transparent they are about not being accredited and the process in general, it doesn't seem like an issue.

If accreditation were forced for all means of post-secondary education, that'd take away our right to pursue information and training from whatever sources we deem appropriate and put a lot of power in the hands of an arbitrary and small few to control information. It seems necessary that non-accredited learning sources are allowed and it seems true by definition that they are alternatives to accredited learning sources (like colleges).

When you study the history and context around impeachment, it becomes increasingly apparent that it was never intended that somebody has to break any laws to be impeached. Impeachment is a subjective matter that is largely up to congress's sense of the competence of the leader. Since these policies are not factual/objective, but subjective policies that our congress (and population) are largely split on, it seems unlikely for them to lead to impeachment. More importantly, if there were enough votes in congress to impeach him for these actions, there would be enough votes in congress to simply make new/stronger environmental laws that he had to follow.
