As abysmal as that must have been, were there any positive moments that stood out to you that made it better in any way?

Which state did you find to be the most overwhelming and which was underwhelming?

That salt. Although unfortunate, if America didn't play those kind of games, it would simply fall victim to the countries that do. Every USA-aligned country is a country NOT working for a competing superpower. Beyond the obvious military implications, you have resources, logistics and intelligence that can be run through these countries that would otherwise be working against you. Somebody needs to get their hands dirty, because its a dirty world we live in.

How do you feel about 'pain management' and the practice of essentially creating and controlling addiction? My wife recently lost her aunt to liver failure, entirely because of the prescription and use of Oxy, overprescribed (180 per month) by a doctor who just simply didn't care. Is there any actual recourse for something like this? It has left a very bitter taste for the rest of us.
