And if you have a decent support network it becomes a lot easier to manage and re-orient yourself with the world around you. Having people who understand your idiosyncrasies and can help you out of a rough spot has helped me immensely.

Having a therapist that listens is also very helpful, if you have access to one.

I sometimes end up sitting in a quiet, stone-still state for hours just doing nothing because I can't figure out if I want to do something. If my husband's home and notices he forces me to get up or play with the dog and I can come back easier :)

I feel stupid, but I'm curious.

When one lung collapses, does your second give you enough oomph to make it somewhere? I mean obviously walking around with a collapsed lung is super not cool but is this one of those times where having a pair of something comes in handy?

Also I fear for my tall skinny husband now based on the other comments in this thread. :/
