Not sure if you're still doing this, since it's already noon here in AZ, but I figured I would ask.

I'm curious as to your stance on solar energy, and what, if anything, you plan on doing to keep corporate money out of the ACC (namely APS buying laws that prevent renewable energy)?

My wife works (well, worked...since they just decided to lay off all their managers today) for one of SunRun's partner companies.

APS has been making their lives hell here in AZ. They were responsible for an illegal bill being put on the docket for this November, thankfully enough people realized what they were doing and caused a large enough stink to get it removed.

Solar in Nevada is dead. They've destroyed any financial incentive that people have for installing solar, as well as punishing non-solar users so much that there is now a negative association with it there.

The Arizona Corporate Commissions office is ran by APS employees. The government agency that is support to regulate the utilities to prevent monopolies and corruption work for the very company they are supposed to regulate.

Not to be a single-issue voter/constituent, but any politician who refuses to acknowledge the importance of solar energy in a massive desert isn't someone I can put my trust in.

My condolences. I'm sick of living in a desert in the southwest, but I'm not sure I could handle not having bomb ass mexican food readily accessible if I move.

Learned to read in the early/mid 90s as well. Everything was "sound it out". I try to teach and impart this on my third-grader, and he looks at me like I'm crazy when I tell him to do that in order to figure out words.
