Hello. Do you check new employee with lie detector? In order to make sure that he or she was not involved in illegal activities such as malware coding?

But you are talking about GReAT, not about poor Russian students who go to internship to Kaspersky for 30k rubles per months. You can't be sure that thess poor Russian students never made a malware in their life.

I can prove my point. Here is a story, one guy went to internship to Kaspersky and stole IDA Pro from there. Afterward he shared this copy on underground forum with other cyber-criminals like me. Here is proof: http://rgho.st/898pg8WcX.view But this happened more than 6 years ago.

If this student stole IDA from Kaspersky, then who forbids him to make malware?

What I wanted to say: you can't publicly claim that none of your employees wrote malware. Because most of Kaspersky employees are Russians and Russians love to write malware.

In fact, we don’t even hire people who have written malware in a previous life.

But how do you know that the guy wrote malware in past?

The one could be perfect malware analyst during day and evil malware coder by night.
