Back in the early 90s I sent a few sports cards to pro athletes to get signed (with moderate success). You need to make it pretty idiot proof. Send one card (otherwise they believe you're a dealer), include a self-addressed stamped envelope, and a thank-you note. Once I sent a card to Barry Bonds while he was still with Pittsburgh. Well, while the card is in transit Bonds ends up going to San Francisco. So, no autograph...or so I believed. The self-addressed stamped envelope arrives in the mail. I open it and the Bonds card inside was beat to shit. It was torn, had holes poked though it and boot prints.

Why isn't anybody talking about deflation?

It looks to me like the GOP plan for creating jobs (reduce taxes for the rich and reduce public spending, encourage private investment) will also create a lot of deflation. I don't think rich people will have any problem creating a lot of jobs if it means they'll eventually control more of the wealth.
