At one point in my Air Force career, I had two associate degrees. This is fairly common because the Community College of the Air Force will award you an associate degree for each career field you work in, e.g. the first one as an electrician then a second one if you become an engine mechanic (provided you've met all the general education requirements for an associate degree AND completed the technical training for each career field).

tl;dr: Air Force members often have multiple associate degrees.
