In times of war and famine, how did the people and society change and adapt as food and other necessities became scarce?

Similarly, how have values changed over the years?

When you say visual changes, what does that mean? Things look different or you hallucinate or you struggle to recognise things?

Is it easier for you when you stay somewhere familiar (home or local area) rather than going somewhere new or does it not make a difference? Or, how has it affected how you experience and interact with familiar environments?
