I am curious, what is the advantage of using a taser compared to equipping police officers with rubber bullets? My question may sound ridiculous, but I'm coming from the assumption that rubber bullets may do less damage than a taser and could potentially subdue an individual that is a threat a bit easier without them potentially dying (though the percentage is small).
