Thanks for mixed network multiplayer!

It is far too rare to be able to play 2 on one computer, 1 on another. Most Frozenbyte games can do it, but it is so often overlooked :(

Yeah, I too was disappointed that it was a work of fiction and not science.

I also like trainspotting; not the book, the activity.

What is your opinion on the recent exodus from Elsevier, and on the extablishment vs. open-access world of academic publishing in general?

I have told this story a few times on Reddit:

Back in grad school, I was teaching intro calc. We did our exams with two versions on two different colors of paper.

One student had, on the green form, wrong solutions to the red form's problems.

He copied off of a neighbor, who had a different color exam, and copied wrong, apparently not noticing they were different problems.

The university did not consider that enough proof of foul play.

Interestingly, schools seem to err on the side of the student unless definitive proof is presented.

I do not teach in a field where plagiarizing paragraphs comes up much, but here you need a picture of the student cheating, or them to admit to it, or multiple proctors word to even hope for disciplinary action.
