First of all congratulations. Secondly how long did it take you to get through the initial brick wall of emotions that is "you have cancer"?

Why exactly did you take your mom? Was it a joke?

I wish you could provide a photo of her reaction. Knowing how my mom reacted I'm sure it was priceless.
