Getting paid based on how much you work seems fair. Not sure about you, but in my country, these two things have been proven to be the main reasons why there is a small gender pay gap, choices, which means that any woman who make choices similar to the stereotypical man has the chance to make just as much money.

Unless we consider staying at home as a job, then the government has to pay them a salary based on the hours spent at home or what?

As it is now, people get paid for work, so working less= less money just makes sense in that system....

So yea, women staying home more meaning they work less, obviously justify getting paid less....
