Hey Mark, I am a huge fan of your body of work in the UFC and WEC. Thanks for doing this. I am an aspiring mixed martial artist fighting out of Raleigh, NC. I'm trying to pick the brains of as many fighters as I can to see how I can get better in not just MMA but all aspects of my life. I see those 5 D's prominently featured at Reign Training Center. Any advice for me that you would have? Was a big guy before and have lost 80 lbs and have a ways to go so any suggestions would be great. I, too, was an emotional eater and you battling through the bout of depression you had was definitely an inspiration.

Hey Ed, Thanks for doing this AMA. I am an aspiring mixed martial artist training out of Raleigh, NC and I was wondering if you had any advice for someone like me? I'm currently on a weight loss journey coming down from 380lbs and I've already lost almost 100 lbs and use the goal of one day fighting in the UFC as my motivation to be at a weight that suits me. I still have a long way to go skills wise and I'd like to fight ideally at 185 much like yourself. Anything I should be doing that works for you as far as your training regimen?
