It looks like he resells wholesale corn spirits that -may- be too young to be considered burbon (though he mentions he is using the term burbon in a strict legal sense, so not sure what young means here). He then does a secondary step, another distillation maybe, to smooth out the liquor before bottling. The barrel the bottle comes in is a gimmick i think. Havent found the patent application yet, but seems interesting. If i ever get to CT ill have to try it.
Let me know if you find the patent, im pretty curious. Ive heard ultrasound can smooth out young liquor pretty damn quick, but the vague comments in the website didnt seem to describe that.

Were you able to get anything in your contract to stipulate that you regain control of the IP if the movie isn't made in 5 or so years? I hear that's a good way to prevent the above. (And probably make it harder to sell a script)
