sorry for being mean, but...

don't you think the mobile-OS-market is already saturated?

even already-existing operating systems like BB10 or FirefoxOS seem like a waste of developing-time, since nobody will adapt them anyway. There is (arguably) simply no reason for them to exist.

With one major Open Source mobile operating system (Android) already on the market, with a huge share....why would anybody want to support a second or a third one?

wouldn't it be cleverer to rather put development-time in improving android (i.e. developing android-apps that scale up for desktop-usage), instead of trying to start a completely new OS?

sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but I think you just don't understand what "Design" means.

Design is about creating something that can be used by a (large) set of other people (meaning: people who aren't yourself). That's why design is always about compromising. A good interface-design is something that most people can grasp and understand - not just the few 'elite'. if a regular person opens the settings of titanium backup, they'll never even bother looking at it again.

if you have to provide a setting for everything, then you didn't design anything.

by your logic a KDE-linux is the best designed operating system, because you can literally change every aspect of it to your needs

Hi Mr. Kawasaki,

I have two quick questions about your current occupation. ( I know you do a lot of things)

But I seem to remember you work/worked at Google/Motorola

with Google and Motorola splitting up, are you now working for Google? or for Motorola? or neither?

And secondly: What was actually your job there to begin with? What kind of advisory are we talking about?

By the way: I follow you on Google+, and I really love the content you share each and every day, thank you
