Common misconception. In countries like the UK, Canada, and the U.S., one needs a bachelors degree at a minimum to matriculate. The average age of a first year medical student at my school is 25. A third year medical student decided a specialty would do so at 28. Finish residency at 32.
And trust me, as a male medical student, there is just no sexual factor interest to factor. I can appreciate that the woman waiting in the emergency department for a transvaginal ultrasound has different experiences to drawn from. But to me, she's a patient, one of twenty or so that I've seen undressed from the waist down in a single call shift, and nothing is "sexy."
It's been most difficult in pediatrics actually, getting past being a male doctor. My girlfriend hasn't run into issues doing male or female well exams and sports physicals, but I have had more than a few exams that I couldn't bring the patient to comfortably do. Once a parent of a two year old even stopped me from going a check. I just have to pause and remember that I don't know the patient and family history.
It shouldn't be something that I take personal, but it still bothers me. I want to be "the doctor," the guy who you go to and trust in during times of need.

This looks like an awesome movie in the making. Would the experience be most similar to Se7en, Memento, or Saw?

We're all not that much different.
