Exactly. The design has come a long, long way. Some of the cars back then may have been as fast, but none were nearly as safe. Drum brakes, bias ply tires, shitty suspension geometry, no seat belts!? No crumple zones and no airbags. Going fast was a ballsy endeavor back then.

Hey Lauren, great video. I found it through a post here on Reddit. So my question is what are your plans for the future? Do you plan on doing more pieces such as that for Rebel Media or do you have something else in store?

For how inherently better an OHC setup can be in regards to power I continue to be amazed at how far companies like GM are going in regards to refining the pushrod V8 to perfection. The LS engines continue to push the boundaries and have been for decades. Those engines are insane straight out of the crate. And to be real, nothing sounds better than a pushrod American V8 at full throttle.
